accordance with this Safety Data Sheet. Symptoms that may arise
if the product is mishandled are:
ACUTE EFFECTS -
SWALLOWED: The chemical, physical or toxicological properties of
this material have not been thoroughly investigated. May be harmful
by ingestion.
EYE: Causes eye irritation.
SKIN: Causes skin irritation.
INHALED: Causes irritation to mucous membrane and upper respiratory
tract.
CHRONIC EFFECTS
No information available.
FIRST AID
SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth with water, give water to drink. Seek medical
attention immediately. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious
person.
EYE: Immediately irrigate with copious quantities of water for at
least 15 minutes. Eyelids to be held open. Seek medical attention
immediately.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
EXPOSURE STANDARDS
No value assigned for this specific material by the National Occupational
Health & Safety Commission (Worksafe Australia.)
ENGINEERING CONTROLS
Use in area with adequate ventilation. Local exhaust ventilation
may be required in dusty environment. Ventilation equipment should
be explosion resistant if explosive concentrations of material are
present. Keep containers closed when not in use.
PERSONAL PROTECTION
Avoid skin and eye contact and inhalation of dust. Wear overalls,
chemical safety glasses or goggles and impervious gloves. Respiratory
protection is required in a dusty environment. Use approved dust/mist
respirator or an air-purifying respirator with a high efficiency
particulate filter. Use with adequate ventilation. Always wash hands
before smoking, eating, drinking or using the toilet.
FLAMMABILITY
Not flammable material. Dust at sufficient concentration can cause
an explosion hazard.
SAFE HANDLING INFORMATION
STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
Store in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight. Store in a well
ventilated area. Store away from oxidising agents, incompatible
materials & foodstuffs. Keep containers closed when not in use.
Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Avoid contact with eyes and
skin. Do not breathe dust.
SPILLS
Isolate the spillage area. Increase ventilation. Wear protective
equipment to prevent skin and eye contamination and inhalation of
dust. Sweep up but avoid generating dust. Collect and seal in properly
labelled drums for disposal. If contamination of sewers or waterways
has occurred advise the local emergency services.
DISPOSAL
Refer to State Land Waste Management Authority.
FIRE/EXPLOSION HAZARDS
On burning will emit toxic fumes. Fire fighters to wear protective
clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus if risk of exposure
to products of combustion.
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Water spray, foam, carbon dioxide, dry chemical
powder.
