1,3,5-Trimethoxybenzene is used as an intermediate in manufacturing a vasoactive agent (Buflomedil which improves the symptoms of impaired blood circulation) and phloroglucinol used as a bone decalcifying agent, a floral preservative as well as in manufacturing other drugs.
